Last night I dreamt of you,
And I forgot the journey has ended.
Your smile is still there,
Every warm and soft memory,
The scenes were replaying
Again and again.
Even if time has taken away
The flowers’ breath,
I still keep this withered inside.
In these silent nights,
I dreamt of you,
And it’s like we never left
The island.
In the dream we felt the death
In the darkness we saw the grief
(River of the tears will carry the wounds to the ocean)
The wind and the fallen leaves
They sank into the dark ocean
(River of the tears will carry the wounds to the ocean)

Strangely lo-fi with respect to other Kauan albums, and often at complete odds with its predecessor, Kaiho (which only comprised clean vocals). To appreciate Ice Fleet, I approach it like a release from another band – an unknown and mysterious one. Alice M.

The album as a whole is great, but the title track is phenomenal--one of the best melodic metal songs I've ever heard. 和美's ethereal voice is the perfect complement to vvildr's growling vocals and masterful instrumentation. More, please! Malcolm McCrimmon

I love to listen to this during work, it fills me with calmness and I can almost smell the scents of the forest.
Beautiful & serene from start to finish. SilverFolfy
